Rebecca and James, Lower Grange Farm, Sandling,Kent. 29th August 2010

The very first wedding at this barn venue so I guess we must be the first band to play here.. Lower Grange Farm barn is situated towards the rear of the Sandling Harvester (the Running Horse) Although quite close to Maidstone it sits in a little back water probably only known to locals I am sure it will make an ideal venue.
Rebecca and James are both Scout leaders and have been hard at work over the previous week preparing the barn for today’s celebrations … Its looks great and is a good place for The Redfords to play.

Food catered for the guests who ate in the Marquee attached to the south side of the barn. Kent Mobile Bars had set a massive bar up at the opposite end of the barn to us it looked almost a permanent fixture.

We arrived amid another late August cloud burst but were able to back the van right inside the barn to unload a far cry form the spiral staircase of yesterday.. A stage has been erected at one end and we duly set up without too much difficulty.

All set up so we set off for the town centre, Maidstone has a Prezzo’s so we were able to take advantage of the vouchers on voucher cloud (a new app available for the iPhone)

Bex and James danced the entire first dance “I Love You Always Forever” by Donna Lewis by themselves watched lovingly by their guests.
The second set started with special renditions from guest 3 to backing track and one live..

A lot of the guests are students of performing arts so there was no amount of singing along at the top of about 100 voices it sounded great.

Another great gig congrats to Rebecca and James
