Siobhan and John, Boys Hall, Ashford, Kent, 21st Aug 2010
We arrived at Boys Hall a quaint 17th century Jacobean Manor House set in 3 acres of landscaped garden now a hotel and wedding venue at 7.00pm. We were booked to play in the same room as the wedding breakfast so quite a logistical operation to get the bands flight cased equipment in through the back door and set without disturbing the guests.
Things were running late which is quite usual for most weddings so we actually started to set the band at 8.00 PM.
First dance for John and Siobhan was “Have I told you lately I love you” Rod Stewart” Guests were very receptive of such a loving couple.
As the music was to stop at 11.30 we were only able to do two sets so as soon as the buffet was finished we were start on again. Taking the mood up-tempo straight away. The wedding photographer was Lisa and Jon of Jon Cook Photographic
